Sales Representative

Reports to: Sales Director

Advanced Business Solutions, a leading Managed Service Provider, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative. The successful applicant will focus on acquiring additional clients and net new sales for the team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales quotas, while meeting other key performance indicators. You will be responsible for continuing current partnerships with Advanced Business Solutions, as well as new networking opportunities. We are looking for a sales-oriented professional who values excellent customer service and a self-starting work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify net new sales opportunities and begin the sales process
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through the entire sales process
  • Effectively execute on a timeline determined by the customer for delivering proposals and solution designs
  • Develop and maintain an active sales funnel
  • Work effectively with the pre-sales engineer to cover all business and technical requirements
  • Proactively communicate with the project managers and project engineers to ensure best possible solution is proposed

Specifications:

Required

  • 3+ years in outside and direct sales
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A basic understanding of technology solutions in the following areas: data center, networking, and managed services
  • The ability to effectively collaborate with other business units both internally and externally
  • A proven track record of carrying a quarterly and yearly quota
